BackMaths Vision
At Oakview, all staff strive to ensure that each child has access to highly-engaging and creative lessons with each of the aims of the National Curriculum and Early Years Curriculum in mind. We adopt a 'mastery' approach to ensure that all pupil experience an accessible, challenging and rewarding curriculum. Moreover, we will endeavour to ensure that our wonderful learners have reflective and regular opportunities to develop themselves as mathematicians. We adopt a spiralled curriculum to ensure that key mathematical concepts are revisited and explored further as each child progresses through school life.
NSPCC Number Day 2026
What a fantastic NSPCC Number Day!
Our children had so much fun coming to school in their maths-themed outfits and getting stuck into a range of exciting number activities throughout the day. We also loved seeing the enthusiasm for the TTRS NSPCC Rocks competition—such brilliant effort all round!
