Reception Applications 2027
Applications for the September 2027 school year will open on 2nd November 2026 for children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023. Applications close 15th January 2027. Please apply online via Hertfordshire County Council.

In Year Applications - Reception to Year 6
The school is part of the county council’s coordinated In Year admissions scheme. Applications can be made via School admissions and transport | Hertfordshire County Council and further information can be obtained from the Customer Service Centre, 0300 123 4043. We do not offer visits to the school until a place becomes available.
Nursery Applications 2027
September 2027, for children born between 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2024. Applications will open on 1st January 2027.

Places in our Pre-School September 2026 have been allocated, applications can still be made and when a place becomes available they will be allocated according to our admission criteria.

Pre-School In-Year Application
Admissions for nursery and pre-school places in Hertfordshire are managed by individual settings. Therefore, OakView Primary School, is its own admissions authority for nursery and pre-school places. Please note, a place in our nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception. Admission from Reception age onwards is managed on behalf of the school by Hertfordshire County Council.
