Reception Applications
Applications for the September 2026 school year will open on 1st November 2025 for children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022. Applications close 15th January 2025. Please apply online via Hertfordshire County Council.

Reception 2026 School Tour Bookings
In Year Applications - Reception to Year 6
The school is part of the county council’s coordinated In Year admissions scheme. Applications can be made via www.hertsdirect.org/admissions and further information can be obtained from the Customer Service Centre, 0300 123 4043. We do not offer visits to the school until a place becomes available.
Nursery Applications 2026
September 2026, for children born between 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2023. Applications will open on 1st January 2026.

Nursery In-Year
Please contact the school office to apply for our current Nursery.
Tours of the Nursery will be available from 15th January 2026. A booking system will be available in due course.
Admissions for nursery places in Hertfordshire are managed by individual settings. Therefore, OakView Primary School, is its own admissions authority for nursery places. Please note, a place in our nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception. Admission from Reception age onwards is managed on behalf of the school by Hertfordshire County Council.
