Year 2's visit to Hertfordshire Zoo

Year 2’s Wild Adventure at Hertfordshire Zoo!

Year 2 had an amazing day out at Hertfordshire Zoo! We were all very excited as we climbed aboard the minibus and set off on our adventure.

When we arrived, we couldn’t wait to explore the zoo and discover all the wonderful animals. We enjoyed looking at the different animals, learning more about them and spotting some of our favourites along the way. There was so much to see and talk about!

One of the highlights of our trip was our Sun Bear Mini Meet!  We had a fantastic opportunity to learn more about these fascinating animals and discover what makes them so special. We were full of curiosity and had lots of interesting things to think about.

After all our exploring, it was time to stop for lunch. We enjoyed sitting together, chatting about what we had seen and having a well-deserved rest before continuing our adventure.

We especially enjoyed our free time exploring the play area with our friends and having lots of fun.

At the end of the day, we climbed back onto the minibus with lots of lovely memories to share. We had a brilliant time learning outside the classroom and discovering more about the amazing world of animals.

Well done, Year 2, for being such fantastic explorers! We are so proud of your enthusiasm, curiosity and wonderful behaviour throughout the trip. What a wild day to remember!
