BackScience Vision
At Oakview Primary School, we aim to inspire a lifelong curiosity about the world through our science curriculum. We encourage children to think like scientists—asking questions, thinking critically, and exploring ideas with curiosity and confidence. Through hands-on investigations and real-world enquiry, pupils develop their ability to work scientifically, building the knowledge and skills needed to understand and answer some of the world’s big questions. Our goal is to make science meaningful, exciting, and accessible to all learners.
British Science Week 2026
On Wednesday 11th March we welcomed Mr Phillips from Goffs to showcase our wonderful Science week from across the most recent units. Many classes put on spectacular displays for Mr Phillips, including speeches, posters and displays as well as sharing their wonderful work from their books.

The whole of the Generations Trust embarked upon an exciting photograph competition where any pupil could enter. Pupils had to submit a photograph of anything scientific, along with a caption of a thought-provoking question. Well done to our entries for the competition!
