Art Vision

At Oakview Primary School our vision in Art is to develop children's visual literacy and cultural awareness, empowering them to confidently express their ideas through creativity. We aim to build critical thinking and confidence, while nurturing a love for art by exploring a wide range of techniques and appreciating the styles of diverse artists. Through a rich and inclusive curriculum, children will develop and refine their artistic skills across all areas of primary learning, fostering both personal expression and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
