Young Writers

Last year, the children in Year 2 took part in an exciting national writing competition organised by Young Writers. The challenge was to unleash their imaginations by creating their very own superhero character. Each child had to come up with a unique design and write a description that captured their superhero’s special powers, appearance, and mission to help others.

Today, we received some wonderful news – every single child’s superhero design has been chosen to be published in a special anthology titled Super Me. This book will be officially released at the end of October, giving the children the incredible opportunity to see their creative work in print and share it with family and friends.

The children were overjoyed and extremely proud of their achievements when they heard the announcement. Having their work published is a huge accomplishment and a fantastic way to celebrate their creativity, effort, and imagination. We can’t wait to hold a copy of Super Me in our hands and see their writing brought to life on the page.
